Best @ Home Chef - 2025
On May 17th, 2025, I had the privilege of attending the Taste of Central Utah in Nephi with The Sugar Bean aka, my granddaughter Maddie, where we were honored to receive the 2025 Best At Home Chef Award.
The event was a resounding success, offering a delightful experience and an opportunity to connect with remarkable individuals while savoring delectable cuisine. I would like to acknowledge the significance of community support, as my local network in Richfield encouraged me to explore new horizons.
This event was very special as I was blessed to have my business namesake with me. Watching her give out samples, answer questions, give recommendations, and make sure everyone had enough to get them through the weekend filled my heart with happiness and I was so proud.
She did not just shine at this event, I have to give her great kudos for our win. I had been uncertain of what I would offer the judges to sample. All day, going back and forth, but not her. She was sure what we should be offering,
When the judges came around, I was with a customer. Maddie handed over what she felt was completely the right item for them to taste. When I was all done, she came and told me what she did. High Five Maddie 🙌🏼🫶🏼 I told her great job and thank you because I had been very stressed at what to offer.
When the awards were being handed out, I just had calmness and felt completely at peace. When they announced the winner, I knew it was Maddie's win too!!
